On April 22 the CRE Awards 2021 ceremony was held at the MIR Concert Hall. This year a new sustainability award, the Green Brick, was approved.
Within the category, the jury's experts evaluated both energy-efficient technologies of facilities and companies' environmental development strategies and implemented social initiatives.
Raven Russia, which has been investing in real estate in Russia
since 2005 using the best world standards and technologies, together with JLL and CRE have initiated the establishment of a special award for commercial real estate market players who pay due attention to environmental issues in the development of their business. The companies are confident that green projects will be the most in demand in the market in the near future.
In order to determine the most worthy contenders for the "Green Brick" award, Raven Russia has formed an expert council to advise on this issue, whose task will be to study and evaluate all the applied projects and initiatives aimed at sustainable development in the commercial real estate market.
Ksenia Agapova, the founder of the company ESG Factor is a member of this council.
The first winner of the "Green Brick" nomination was Globus Hypermarket Kommunarka - HYPERGLOBUS company actively develops the direction of sustainable development and implements sustainable development measures for all its facilities. Also in December 2020 the facility received a BREEAM Excellent rating.
