Logistics Park Raven Russia in Rostov-on-Don - BREEAM in-Use Excellent
New BREEAM Excellent certificate! Rostov-on-Don Logistics Park, the developer of which is Raven Russia, has been certified according to the new BREEAM In-Use v6 standard with a rating of 72,8%.
Initially the project was rated Very Good, but the solutions implemented and the team's attentive approach ensured a higher rating for the building!
The assessor was Ksenia Agapova, founder of ESG Factor.
Here are some interesting features of the building:
- The complex is home to the region's largest 0.5 MW solar plant! The station supplies storage buildings and will sell surplus to the grid.
- To improve biodiversity, bee hives have been installed in the surrounding areas and honey production has been organized!
- Rainwater is stored and used for irrigation after treatment at the treatment plant. Innovative treatment plants use biological agents to purify water.
- A system of separate waste collection has been organized - both large bins for sorting packaging and small garbage cans for employees to use. Also, a compactor is used - with the large volume of waste from industrial facilities it is an important part of an efficient and environmentally friendly waste collection system - the accumulated waste takes up less space, which reduces the number of waste collection trips.
- On the territory of the logistics park, much attention is paid to landscaping - there are green lawns, plantings of native species of plants, flowerbeds, and inside the building - a green wall.
- Offices have inhalation-level CO2 sensors to signal excessive indoor carbon dioxide concentrations, a user-configurable climate control system, and LED lighting.
Congratulations to Raven Russia team @ravenrussia and we wish success in further certification of other warehouse complexes!
