Results 2021 for
Building Certification

Traditionally, we sum up the results of 2021 and look into the next year!
In the past year, the ESG factor team managed to do a lot of things:

- 538 thousand sq.m. of new projects were certified, three of them are BREEAM Excellent: Globus Medvedkovo, OBI Kazan project, Globus Logistics Center Pushkino.

- Russia's first WELL 2.0 Pre-certified for AFI 2B business center. The project's target rating is WELL Gold.

- Globus Kommunarka Hypermarket (BREEAM Excellent) took the 1st place in the nomination GREEN BRICK CRE AWARDS, established in 2021. Globus Pushkino Logistics Center won in the category "Industrial Real Estate".

- this year we paid a lot of attention to educational activities - we talked about innovative solutions and trends in posts, participated in live broadcasts by eco-bloggers, held seminars for customers, and collaborated with publishers - Ksenia agapova's article about Green Schools in Energy Efficiency magazine is published on @zvt.abok.ru.

In the spring, Ksenia taught a course on building certification and trends in cyclical economics to students at @mguu_ru Moscow State University under the Government of Moscow.

As a vector of development it is possible to note expansion of activity - certification according to BREEAM and LEED standards becomes an accepted standard for more and more companies - now the focus is shifting from ecologization of separate buildings to complex optimization of activity according to ESG principles - with time competitive existence of business without attention to them will be impossible.

Also, every year there is a growing awareness of the benefits of creating a comfortable and healthy environment for employees and building users - several of our projects are already in the process of being evaluated by #fitwel and WELL.

We always strive to make our services relevant and useful - in addition to BREEAM / LEED / WELL / FITWEL certification services we carry out work on building life cycle assessment, energy efficiency modelling, GRESB assessment support, ESG consulting.
